‘Brewmo’ craft beer to be served on Lumo trains

Newcastle brewery Full Circle Brew Co has created an exclusive beer for passengers on Lumo’s East Coast route.

Lumo is to sell a new craft beer created exclusively for its passengers by Newcastle-based Full Circle Brew Co.

Named ‘Brewmo’ following a tasting session involving the brewery and train operator, the beer will be available in cans from Lumo ambassadors as part of the refreshments offered on the open access operator’s East Coast services.

Rachel Firth, Lumo’s head of customer experience, said: “We’re delighted to team-up with Full Circle to launch this quality beer especially for our customers.”

She added: “We’re always looking for new ways to enhance our customer experience and I’m sure Brewmo will be a popular addition to our selection of tasty onboard refreshments.”

Ben Cleary, founder of Full Circle Brew Co, said the company was “extremely proud” to have one of its beers served exclusively on local rail services.

Full Circle was founded in 2019 and says its beers are now sold across the UK and exported to 12 countries. The brewery has also received several industry awards.

Lumo recently recorded a 90% overall customer satisfaction score in the Rail Customer Experience Survey for the period from October 2025 to March 2026. The operator was among the three highest-performing long-distance operators and ranked first for value for money.
