Seven Force (7F) Commercial Services is seeking supplier feedback on a proposed multidisciplinary engineering and construction consultancy framework for seven police and crime commissioner authorities.
The preliminary market engagement notice was published by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk on 21 October 2026. The collaboration covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk and Suffolk police forces.
Consultancy disciplines
The proposed framework could provide access to civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, architecture, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management, programme management and structural engineering services.
7F is asking suppliers to complete a questionnaire covering their capabilities and capacity, as well as views on the framework structure, lotting arrangements, call-off mechanisms and procurement approach.
The deadline for responses is 27 October 2026. The estimated contract period is 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2031, while the tender notice is currently expected to be published on 30 November 2026.
Regional procurement collaboration
According to the Norfolk Police website, 7F Commercial Services aims to use the combined buying power of the seven forces to secure better value for money, while improving interoperability and efficiency across the police service.
The organisation said its vision was to support the delivery of an effective police service and provide support for victims of crime in the eastern region by procuring and managing a high-quality, value-for-money supply chain.
